A Hampshire-based youth dance company has been selected to participate in a national youth dance platform at Sadler's Wells East.
Based at The Point in Eastleigh, ORB Youth Dance Company will represent the South of England at the high-profile event, which takes place on July 23.
The company is one of just eight selected from across the UK for Making Moves, a national youth dance platform presented by Sadler’s Wells.
Participants in the event have the chance to showcase their skills and creativity on one of the world’s most respected stages, while also connecting with young artists from across the UK.

Over the past eight years, the group has nurtured new dance talent and made a significant impact in the youth dance industry.

"It’s an incredible opportunity for these young people to dance on a world-renowned stage and be celebrated for the amazing young artists they are.

Making Moves celebrates young dance talent aged 11 to 19 and provides a crucial platform for emerging dancers and choreographers.
The inclusion of ORB in the 2025 cohort underlines their commitment and hard work.
Now on the look-out for the next generation of young talent, ORB Youth Dance Co. will hold auditions for new members on July 14 at The Point in Eastleigh.
Dancers aged 14 to 25 with a passion for contemporary dance are invited to apply.
