READERS have been revealing their favourite spots to visit in Worcester as a tourist.
Commenting on the Worcester News Facebook page, residents have given people travelling in the area a string of must-see spots and hidden gems across the county, from green spaces to historic landmarks.
Gheluvelt Park, Croome Park and House, Priory Park in Great Malvern, and Spetchley Park Gardens were all described as beautiful by residents.
Lindsay Harris recommended both the Worcester Cathedral and The Commandery, while Mary Bentall enjoys a visit to the "beautiful" Croome Park and House.
Jen Bodfish suggested a "walk around the river Severn and visit fish pass and Diglis Marina".
Susan Hawker concurred, commenting: "The walk along the river by the cathedral; it’s beautiful."
For those keen to explore further, Mr Habbitts suggested "Broadway, Malvern, Bewdley", and Stuart Farmer added "Habberly Valley, kinver, Clent Hills, Tenbury Wells".
The National Trust also got a special mention, with Max Drury saying: "National Trust properties are a must-see.
"Visit Hanbury Hall; Croome Hall; Dudhampstead Hall - you’d do well to purchase an annual pass if visiting multiple properties."
He added: "If the weather is warm, a book swimming passes at Droitwich Spa lido (outdoor swimming pool with splash pad)."
Mr Drury also recommended walking up British Camp on the Malvern Hills, commenting: "There are many routes you can take but this is the best in my opinion - you can park at the foot of the hill; buy locally made ice cream there and there’s a decent pub to grab food/drinks.".

Children are not left out, with Tracy Armstrong commenting: "If you have children, go to West Midlands safari park.
"So much to do."
For culture and history, Elaine Castleford said: "Coughton Court at Studley is worth a visit.
"Beautiful house with loads of history and gorgeous gardens… a lake, riverside walk, bog garden, orchard, walled rose garden, 2 churches and a woodland with loads of open space to explore."
