Eight cruise ships are set to dock in Southampton over the weekend including some of the UK's biggest ships bringing thousands of visitors to the city.
Drivers are being warned as more than 35,000 cruise passengers will be departing and arriving for their summer voyages.
The Queen Mary 2, Arcadia, and Britannia are among the vessels scheduled to arrive on Friday, May 30.
Royal Carribean Cruises' Independence of the Seas will be following suit on Saturday with Iona, Ventura, MSC Virtuosa, and Sky Princess all set to join her.
Sunday will see a much quieter day, which should result in less city centre traffic, with the Norwegian Prima and Queen Anne expected to arrive in the morning.
The arrivals will boost the number of tourists in the city meaning that the roads are likely to be busy - with drivers being warned to allow extra journey time.
