A busy road will be closed for six weeks for gas works.
Coxford Road in Lordswood has been closed for essential gas works.
The closure, which began on May 26, is between the Dunvegan Drive and Dunkirk Road junctions.
The work, conducted by SGN, involves replacing old metal pipes with new plastic ones to ensure a reliable gas supply for homes and businesses.
The project is expected to be completed by July 4, barring any unforeseen circumstances.
The closure means no through vehicle access along Coxford Road past the location of the works.
However, residents will have vehicle access to properties within the closure, including side roads, which will change as the works progress.
Pedestrian and cycle access will be maintained, and bin collection days remain unchanged unless otherwise informed by the service provider.
Bus routes could be affected, and passengers are advised to contact their service provider for the latest updates.
SGN has apologised for the inconvenience and thanked locals for their patience.
