Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is set to receive a new cutting-edge radiotherapy machine as part of a national initiative.
The £70 million Government investment will see linear accelerator (Linac) machines rolled out to 28 hospitals across England from August.
The Department for Health and Social Care claims the new technology will reduce hospital visits for radiotherapy treatment.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting said: "There is a revolution taking place in medical technology which can transform treatment for cancer patients."

Hampshire Hospitals' radiotherapy unit is run by University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
The Linac machines are prioritised for hospitals using equipment that is over a decade old.
NHS national clinical director for cancer, Professor Peter Johnson, said the "machines will deliver more precise treatment for patients", helping them to "recover sooner".
The Department for Health and Social Care expects up to an additional 27,500 treatments per year, including up to 4,500 patients receiving their first cancer treatment within 62 days of referral.
