A man from the New Forest has been arrested after two cyclists were hit by a car near Brockenhurst last night.
Just after 6pm, a white Vaxuhall Corsa collided with the cyclists at the junction of Brockenhurst Road and Burley Road, sending both to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Corsa, a 20-year-old man from Sway, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and remains in custody.

The cyclists, a 49-year-old man and a 52-year-old man, are both from London.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "As part of our investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who was in the area or witnessed the collision, the moments leading up to it or the aftermath.
"Anyone who saw what happened or has any information, including dash cam footage that may assist our enquiries, is asked to call 101 quoting the reference 44250228518.
"We would also like to thank other motorists in the area for their patience last night, as the road was closed for a considerable period while emergency services dealt with the scene."
