A cul-de-sac in the centre of Southampton is set to be closed for a day for road works.
Brighton Road will shut between 8am and 4pm on May 28 in order to undergo carriageway patching.
The closure will be at the road's junction with Banister Road, though access will be maintained where possible.
Motorists are advised to look out for 'no-waiting' cones and to avoid parking in these areas, as vehicles blocking access may be removed if they obstruct repairs.

The council has warned residents that the scheduled date is subject to change based on weather conditions but that any changes will be communicated via yellow 'advance warning' signs in the area.
Those living next to the works may experience temporary disturbances from loud noises or flashing lights.
Refuse collections will continue as usual and in a letter sent to residents the council apologised for any inconvenience.
