A micropub on Bedford Place has been granted permission to stay open until midnight after its planning application was approved.
Beards and Boards was previously only allowed to welcome guests into the pub between midday and 10pm.
But with the latest plans approved, the watering hole on the busy Bedford Place strip can open until midnight, something the micropub has already advertised on Facebook for Fridays and Saturdays.

The independent alternative craft beer bar serves a wide and unique range of pale ales, IPAs and stouts.
Beards and Boards also works with several food outlets on Bedford Place such as Popsi's Pizzeria, Piecaramba and Gyro Guys, often allowing patrons to have their meals delivered for free.
The approval of the longer hours does come with conditions however, as the pub will not be allowed to receive deliveries between 8pm and 8am on any day.
Glass must also not be stored outside of the building, unless it is placed for bin collection day.
