Hampshire County Council has secured £7 million to continue the Skills Bootcamps programme.
The funding from the Department for Education will allow the fast-track employment training scheme to run for a third year.
The programme, which is open to Hampshire residents aged 19 and over, provides training based on local employer demand and skill shortages.
Councillor Nick Adams-King, leader of Hampshire County Council, said: "The Bootcamps are a brilliant way to help local people – whether already in employment or seeking work – gain skills for life, while meeting the needs of industries and businesses across Hampshire.

The funding will allow at least 1,750 learners to study subjects including AI, leadership and management, teaching assistant, data analytics, and B2B sales.
