A New Forest town with "postcard-perfect high streets" has been named among the UK's best and prettiest coastal getaways.
Lymington featured on a list with 20 other locations from Time Out, who profiled the best spots for a "good dose of sun, sand and sea air".
They added: "This is an island nation, after all, which means it’s packed with rugged cliffs and windswept headlands as well as quaint fishing villages and shoreline surf spots.
"We might not have the sunkissed weather of our European neighbours, but when it comes to costal charm, the UK ticks a hell of a lot of boxes."

Why is Lymington among the UK's best and prettiest coastal getaways
Lymington was included on the list for being a "Georgian sailing town with proper salty pubs" among other features.
If you're looking for beautiful scenery and water experiences to try out, then this is the perfect place.
Time Out shares: "Lymington’s a refined seaside town with postcard-perfect high streets – but the boat-filled harbour is the main attraction.
"Get out on the water with one of the town’s sailing experiences, join a chartered fishing excursion or just watch the world go by with a pint from one of the wonky-fronted old pubs."
The publication also recommends trying out the Lymington Seafood Festival which takes place in August, where "jazz and blues meet fresh seafood cooked up by top chefs".
According to the Visit New Forest website, Lymington has a "rich maritime history" and offers loads of quality food and drink options.
