A HAMPSHIRE primary school is closed due to an outbreak of norovirus.
Compton Church of England Primary School, in Compton Street, Compton, is closed to pupils on Friday, May 23, due to several children contracting the virus.
A post on the Hampshire County Council emergency school closures webpage says that seven children in a class of 22 reported having the virus on Thursday, May 22, with three being hospitalised.
The school is closed while a deep clean is carried out, with parents informed.
Compton Church of England Primary School has been contacted for comment.
