Staff at a new climbing centre in Southampton says they are "excited" to open ahead of the summer break.
The new Climbing Hangar Southampton is currently under construction at the old Adams Morey van showroom and workshop on Third Avenue.
The 28,000 square foot indoor climbing gym will feature more than 300 bouldering climbs of varying difficulty, a café and a strength training gym.
It is currently planned for the site to open on July 17, with staff training currently underway.

Mick Crosbie, operations director for the Climbing Hangar, said: "We are really excited to become part of the Southampton community. Obviously, this is one of the biggest sites we have opened.
"It is a big space, so we are really excited about it. A nice big, broad, open climbing centre, it is an ideal space for us.
"The site will appeal to families and all ages, which is really important to us.
"The main product is bouldering. You don't need another person to come and hold ropes, you can climb at all levels and alongside each other.
"We have quite a range of difficulties, and we have really focused on having climbs for all levels. We have a space for kids and families to climb together."

The site's climbs will primarily be bouldering, an activity where climbers scale walls without the aid of rope or harnesses, with foam mats on the floor to prevent any injuries from falls.
The site had been marketed since March 2021, and the new climbing centre could create around 30 jobs.
"The contractors have been putting all the walls in and the café," added Mick.
"There is going to be a gym inside the site as well, so people can come in and train and have the option to climb.
"We are really happy with how it is coming along.
"It is quite quick to open. We have started training the staff and getting ready for what's hopefully going to be lots of customers when we start in July."

The site will also feature training boards for those looking to "train and keep getting better".
Adams Morey vacated the Millbrook site in the autumn of 2021 and is now based at The Causeway in nearby Redbridge.
