A family-owned gym that has fostered a diverse community has been shortlisted for the Echo's Gym of the Year award.
CrossFit Solent, a community-focused fitness facility, hopes that its consistent offering over the course of the last 12 years will make it stand out from the rest in the competition.
The gym specialises in group sessions, mixing strength training, functional movements, and high-intensity workouts under the direction of experienced coaches.
Notably, each regimen is tailored to develop members' individual health and fitness objectives, accommodating both beginners and seasoned athletes.

Operating for over 12 years, CrossFit Solent has fostered a diverse community of fitness enthusiasts ranging from ages 18 to 77.
The gym’s regime is reported to have significantly improved the strength, mobility, and general quality of life for many members.
Their approach goes beyond mere exercise, with a strong focus on building a connected and supportive community.
