A care home has won an award for its architecture and interior design.

Templeton Place Care Home, in Hurst Way, Nursling, was crowned the winner of the Best Architecture or Interior Design category at the Care Home Awards.

The ceremony took place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on May 16.

Home manager Kay Mitchell attended the event with colleagues, including customer relations manager Claire Roberts, chef Clifford McCrea, and regional sales manager Nikki Toomer.

Ms Mitchell said: "Everyone at Templeton Place is so proud of our beautiful home, which is the very definition of luxury living.

"We've had incredible feedback from residents, families, and visitors about how stunning the home is and our amazing facilities, so it's wonderful to take this trophy back with us."

Templeton Place opened in 2024 and offers residents care and luxury living.

The home has its own bistro, cinema, and spa facilities, as well as a private dining room, lounges, and an in-house pub, The Spitfire Arms.

The award was part of a trio that care provider Hamberley Care Homes, which runs Templeton Place, was awarded by the judges.

They were also named 'Outstanding Smaller Care Group' and were highly commended for 'Nutrition, Food and Dining'.
