The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
JASON MCHUGH, 47, of Twyford Road, Eastleigh, admitted to driving on the M3, East Stratton at 92mph on December 5, 2023, exceeding the 70mph speed limit. He has been given a reduced disqualification of 28 days and four notional penalty points. Fined £430. Must pay £110 in court costs and a £172 surcharge.
JACOB JACKSON, 30, of Geoffrey Crescent, Fareham, admitted to driving his Mercedes on the M27 Eastbound between J9 and J10 at 130mph on October 23, 2023, exceeding the 70mph speed limit. Disqualified for 8 months and must pay a £120 fine. Must also pay court costs of £110 and a surcharge of £48.
JACK DUNFORD, 27, of Austerberry Way, Gosport, was proven to have used a motor vehicle on July 20, 2023, on JCT, A27 and Western Way, Fareham, without insurance. Fined £660 and driving record endorsed with eight penalty points. Must pay £110 in court costs.

ALEXANDER WOOLLEY, 27, of Ernest Road, Havant, admitted to driving a motor vehicle on the A27 West Street in Portchester at 40mph, exceeding the 30mph limit. Fined £136. Must pay court costs of £110 and a surcharge of £54.
CHRISTOPHER CRIPPS, 42, of Howard Road, Southampton, found guilty of 11 counts of theft from Southern Co-op in Southampton between January 13 and February 4, 2024. This includes bottles of red wine, bottles of white wine, and beer. To pay £200 in compensation.
KELLY DIGNAM, 34, of Kerns Close, Maybush, admitted to three counts of using threatening or abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Southampton, two of which occurred on May 14, 2025, and another on November 12, 2024. Also admitted to assault by beating on a police officer and criminal damage to a police van and holding cell on November 12, 2024. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. Must also pay £60 in compensation to three separate victims, including the police officer.
