A popular paddling pool in Totton is undergoing repairs and is set to reopen for the summer.
The splash pad at Hanger Farm Park on Aikman Lane in Totton is undergoing "specialist" work.
Totton councillor David Harrison said: "I had a quick chat today with the contractors who were busy completing repairs to the very popular splash pad at West Totton.
"The friendly team come from Sheffield.
"It's expensive and specialist work but my fellow councillors agreed to fund it, knowing how popular it is."

Hundreds of families in Totton flock to Hanger Farm for a day out when the sun is shinning.
Cllr Harrison added: "Although Totton is quite a large town, it is remarkable that we provide three water based fun facilities here - Eling and Testwood.
"I have asked the parks officer for a date that's pencilled in for when the facility will be re-opened."
