A Southampton pilates instructor is set to host a charity day to help fight loneliness.
Andrea Hill's event will take place at The Atherley Bowling Club on Hill Lane on June 14.
The sessions will help raise funds for Communicare, a charity working to eradicate loneliness in the city.
Annie Clewlow, manager of Communicare, said: "There are classes running throughout the day starting from 9.15am with details on the booking site.
"If you book in for one of Andrea’s sessions, then you’ll be helping fundraise for us.
"Beginners are welcome, over 18s only.
"There has been lots of research showing how loneliness impacts on an individual’s physical and mental well-being.
"So, fundraising events like this are really, really important to help us continue with our work in Southampton, especially in the current economic climate.
"We’re here to help people live their best lives, rather than to just exist."
Tickets are priced at £15 per person, or £25 for a ticket and a t-shirt.
There is a £5 discount when booking two or more classes, and each class includes complimentary tea, coffee, and cake.
Andrea said: "Book for as many classes as you wish.
"Please wear clothing that allows full and unrestricted movement of the body such as gym pants/tracksuit bottoms and a t-shirt.
"Ideally, bring your own mat, although there are a few spares, which can be made available on the day.
"There will also be an opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win some super prizes including luxury hampers and donations such as meat from Uptons Butchers and entry tickets to the Beaulieu Motor Museum.
"This is a non-profit event; all proceeds will go to Communicare."

The six 40-minute classes include general mat Pilates, Pilates with a small ball, core strengthening and toning, Pilates with a resistance band, leg strengthening and toning, and back strengthening and abdominal toning.
Communicare is a neighbourhood charity that provides services to enrich the lives of isolated people in and around Southampton.
The charity is currently supporting more than 750 individuals and families through tasks including befriending, transport for appointments, and assistance with shopping.
