A law firm has pledged to raise £10,000 for a cardiac charity.
Paris Smith has partnered with Heartbeat to support the charity's mission to improve cardiac care.
The charity raises funds for the Wessex Cardiac Unit at University Hospital Southampton, providing specialised equipment and funding projects to enhance patient care.
It also offers free accommodation for patients' relatives at Rotary Heartbeat House, opposite the hospital.
Paris Smith aims to raise up to £10,000 for the charity by sponsoring events and organising fundraisers throughout the year.
Charlotte Farrell and Tabytha Cunningham, joint chairs of the charity committee at Paris Smith, said: "Partnering with Heartbeat allows us to make a meaningful contribution to an organisation delivering vital services within our community.
"This is made even more poignant as several members of the firm have firsthand experience of the support they can offer.
"When we asked staff to nominate a charity, Heartbeat was a name that clearly stood out.
"Through this partnership, we look forward to combining sponsorship, fundraising and volunteering to allow patients and their families to benefit from the care and support the charity is available to offer and to help contribute towards the pioneering research projects the charity supports."

Heartbeat's CEO, Mark Ind, said: "We are absolutely delighted to be chosen as charity partner with Paris Smith.
"As a charity that receives no government or council funding, partnerships like this are vital in helping us continue to fund pioneering equipment and services that improve cardiac care in our region and we’d like to thank Paris Smith for their support."
Paris Smith's support for Heartbeat follows a staff vote, with the charity receiving a clear majority of nominations.
