A group of travellers have set up camp at a busy car park in Fareham.
The group have set up at the Lysses Carpark in Fareham which is located just off the A32.
Fareham Borough councillor Alison West said: "A group from the travelling community have set up camp in Lysses Car Park.
"The police are aware and are working with the council and carrying out patrols in the area throughout the day to ensure that the needs of both the travelling and local communities are taken into consideration.
"The Wickham Horse Fair starts tomorrow where ponies and horses are raced and sold."

Officers have also said they expect the group will vacate the site after the Wickham Horse Fair - an annual event where many travellers sell and race horses.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "There is no further update at this time, the group remains on site and are expected to leave after the horse fair."
