Fareham Borough Council has launched a consultation on its new Draft Air Quality Strategy 2025-2030.
This strategy aims to reduce air pollution across the borough and replaces the 2008 Air Quality Action Plan.
The council's vision is to "improve the quality of the air we all breathe and to benefit our overall environment for future generations."
The public consultation will run until August 8, and interested parties can have their say on the draft strategy document and the council's approach to improving air quality by completing a short survey.
Councillor Joanne Burton, executive member for health and public protection at Fareham Borough Council, said: "The council regularly reviews and assesses air quality across the borough.
"This draft strategy is an important document which outlines the council’s key actions for improving air quality in the local area.
"I encourage residents to take the time to review the document to ensure they have their say on the council’s proposed approach and objectives moving forward."
