It's the city centre cocktail bar with axe-throwing, shuffleboard, karaoke, and big plans for the bank holiday weekend and half term. 

Boom Battle Bar, at Westquay opposite Southampton's historic walls, has been thrilling competitive families and friends with virtual darts, American pool, beer pong and more since it first opened back in November 2022.

And now there are plans for a bank holiday banger with the venue's biggest ever weekend of games, giveaways, and entertainment this weekend.

Enjoy a cocktail masterclass and two boozy brunches, including one with a throwback vibe and another with bingo fun and bottomless cocktails. 

Live DJs will also be bringing the ultimate bank holiday weekend soundtrack each evening.

Also expect free tasting sessions and epic games battles going head to head with others, and the chance to win prizes from branded merchandise to delicious drinks.

Boom Battle Bar boasts a host of battleground-themed cocktails, including the popular 'Axepresso Martini', mixed up by its talented bartenders, as well as a good selection of draught beer and wine available behind the bar. There's two for the price of one cocktails during happy hours, which runs from 4pm to 7pm Monday to Thursday.

Guests can tuck into street food favourites like loaded fries, crispy chicken tenders, and mac and cheese balls.

It is an adults only venue after 7pm and bookings for Christmas party packages, including games, drinks and food, are already being taken.
