Pictures show the aftermath of a dramatic crash in Southampton city centre on Friday that saw drivers left with minor injuries.
The crash took place at the traffic lights outside Southampton Central Police Station on Southern Road.
Only minor injuries were reported to police and the incident resulted in the road being partially closed for around four hours before it was re-opened later that evening.

(Image: Submitted) A police spokesperson said: “This was a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision at approximately 7.30pm yesterday, Friday, May 16.
“The collision was at the junction of Southern Road and Western Esplanade. Traffic lights were also damaged during the incident.
“Thankfully, only minor injuries were reported. Following partial closures, the road was fully reopened shortly before 11.30pm.”
Both cars — a Toyota and a Ford — sustained significant damage during the crash as well as the metal railings and the traffic lights at the junction.
