A new monthly café session for people with Parkinson’s is launching in Gosport.
The event will be held at the Henry Cook Centre on May 16, from 10.30am to 12pm.
The café will provide a space for individuals with Parkinson's and their loved ones to share experiences, offer advice, and support each other.
Jaqueline Fisher, a volunteer who helped set up the café, said: "The Gosport Parkinson’s Café will help people with Parkinson’s and their carers to share their individual experiences, offer advice and information, as well as support one another."
The café will continue to run on the third Friday of each month, with no booking required.
Light refreshments will be available for a small donation, and free parking is provided.
Leigh-Beth Stroud, area development manager at Parkinson’s UK, said: "It's vital that we support everyone affected by Parkinson's so that together, we can help each person feel empowered to regain control of their life with Parkinson's."
