The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:

TIMOTHY HORSTEAD, 35, of Ellwood Avenue, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of cannabis possession after he was caught with the Class B drug on September 26, 2024 in Southampton. He was fined £133 and a forfeiture and destruction order was made for the cannabis.

MADISON GEDDES, 30, of no fixed address, admitted a charge of possession of Class A drugs after she was found with diamorphine in Southampton on November 13, 2024. She was fined £40 and a forfeiture and destruction order for the drugs was made.

JESSE BARBER, 20, of Shakespeare Road, Southampton, pleaded guilty to a charge of cocaine possession and possession with intent to supply cannabis after he was caught with the drugs on the Isle of Wight on December 20, 2022. He is subject to a year-long community order that includes up to ten days of rehabilitation activity requirement days and 50 hours of unpaid work.  A forfeiture and destruction order was made for the cocaine and the cannabis. He also admitted two charges of criminal damage after he damaged two glass windows, worth £2,980 at Blue Butterfly Studios, and a glass window belonging to Eastleigh Borough Council worth £692, on February 8. For these offences he was ordered to pay compensation of £1440 and £360.

MATTHEW LEACH, 26, of Ellwood Avenue, Southampton, admitted a charge of theft after he stole a bank card, and a charge of fraud by false representation after he used the stolen bank card at a kebab shop, both on November 16, 2024, in Southampton. He also admitted a second charge of false representation after he used a credit card that did not belong to him to make a £40.88 gain at BP petrol station in Southampton on November 17, 2024. He was given a 29-week custodial sentence.
