Two disabled parking bays at a Totton McDonald's are to be replaced with electric vehicle chargers, as plans are approved.
The move comes after InstaVolt successfully submitted an application to the New Forest District Council to install the chargers in the car park of the fast food outlet on Commercial Road.
Out of the restaurant's 35 total parking spots, two disabled spaces will be removed for the installation, leaving only two designated disabled spaces remaining.

The plans outline that the development will include line painting, logo placement on the allocated spaces, cabling for a connection to the National Grid, and equipment installation.
However, the application does not specify whether the disabled bays will be repositioned.
The proposal has been approved under certain conditions, including the requirement to begin development within three years from the date of permission.
