A major road in Hedge End is set to be hit by road works for two weeks and drivers are being warned ahead of the road closure.

The often busy Wildern Lane in Hedge End is set to be hit by Hampshire County Council road works this month that could cause significant delays in the area.

Teams are set to start working on the road from Friday, May 23 and last for two weeks, until Friday, June 6.

Crews will require a full closure of the road in order to undertake this work but footpaths are set to be unaffected.

This will then take motorists to the A334 roundabout, meeting up with the other end of Wildern Lane.
