A man has been arrested after a Mercedes crashed into several parked cars.
The 62-year-old man was arrested after the crash in Orchard Grove, Portchester, at 4.42am on Tuesday.
According to police, a member of the public reported that the driver was attempting to leave the scene.
Officers were quickly on the scene and arrested the man on suspicion of driving while unfit through drugs.
The man was reportedly pulled from the vehicle as he attempted to flee and was placed in handcuffs, according to police.

He was taken into custody for further questioning.
The 62-year-old has been bailed with conditions until August 13 while inquiries continue.
A police spokesperson said: "Preliminary tests completed, arrested for Section 4 Unfit to drive through drink or drugs.
"Arrested and taken to custody, damaged vehicles identified and reference number left for insurance."
