A Hampshire manufacturing facility run by Saab has been praised by the Foreign Secretary for supporting high-skilled jobs.
Speaking as Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Hjalmar Kristersson visits the UK, Foreign Secretary David Lammy highlighted Saab Fareham facility as an example of the strengthening partnership between the UK and Sweden.
Saab is a Swedish manufacturer and the Fareham site, which supports up to 400 jobs, is part of a three-building campus where workers develop advanced underwater robotics and radar systems.

These systems will assist the UK's armed forces in tracking threats during overseas missions.
Foreign Secretary David Lammy commended the site for bolstering Britain's defence sector and providing high-skilled jobs.
He said: "The success of Saab’s advanced UK manufacturing facility in Hampshire underlines how the UK Government’s Plan for Change is driving growth to every part of the country.
"Saab’s commitment to the UK is an exciting boost to businesses across the South-East and is another vote of confidence in our world-class defence sector."
The company employs more than 600 people across eight UK sites and supports thousands more jobs through its supply chain.
