Drivers are being warned of delays as a major road in Hamble has been hit by road works.
On Monday, Satchell Lane in Hamble was hit with the first day of works that are due to be in place for around two weeks.
The road is a major route through the Hampshire town and contains the local GP practice, Blackthorn Health Centre, and The Hamble School.
To the relief of many – the closure is further down Satchell Lane, so both the school and GP practice should be unaffected by the works.
