Drivers are being warned of road closures ahead of the Wickham Horse Fair 2025.
The main road through the centre of Wickham – Fareham Road and The Square will be inaccessible to drivers while the annual horse parade takes place.
Taking place on Tuesday, May 20, a full closure of the road will be required.
The fair sees crowds gathered around barriers in the village as horse and pony-drawn carriages ride past them – with members from the traveller community both racing and selling horses.

Vendors also sell a range of items from baby and adult clothes to cleaning products and bedding.
It is thought that the fair is one of the longest running events in Hampshire, and possibly even the UK, with the fair’s origins dating back to 1269 - when King Henry III granted a charter for a weekly market in Wickham.
Those living in nearby areas such as Shedfield and North Boarhunt are likely to be impacted.
