A new thriller set in the New Forest has been released.
The novel, Last Stop, Lyndhurst, is the second book in the series by author David Matthews.
It follows the story of retired Scotland Yard detective Joe Loxley, whose peaceful retirement is shattered by a series of threatening notes.

Author David Matthews, who grew up in Shoreditch, said: "Having set the original ‘Oxford Trinity’ back in the eighties, I thought rather than follow up immediately with another adventure for DCI Loxley and his sidekick Cumber set back in those times, it occurred to me that it might be more interesting to bring them up to the present day and find out what had happened to them in that passage of time."
The book was published on April 28 and is available to buy now.
