The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court:
MARTIN TYRRELL, 46, of Butts Ash Lane, Hythe, pleaded guilty to speeding at Bitterne Road West in Southampton by travelling at 43mph in 30mph zone. Fined £100 with £40 victim services surcharge. Driving record endorsed with three penalty points. No order for costs.
DARREN HODGKINSON, 33, of Millbrook Road East, Southampton, pleaded guilty to assaulting emergency worker in Southampton on December 26 2024. Fined £120 and detained until court rose in default of payment. Told to pay £48 victim services surcharge.
ANDREW HARRINGTON, 39, of Ashmead Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to two counts of assaulting emergency worker in Weymouth West police station on September 2 2024. Remanded in custody until May 14 2025.
AIDEN GREENE, 32, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to entering porch with intent to steal in Weymouth on or about November 28 2023. Case adjourned until May 21 2025.
RICHARD MARINER, 39, of Acorn Close, Gosport, pleaded guilty to speeding on B3354 Winchester Road, Fair Oak, by traveling at 41mph in 30mph zone. Banned from driving for six months, fined £370 with £110 costs and £148 victim services surcharge.
JEFFREY SHIELDS, 54, of Millbrook Road East, Southampton, admitted speeding at Rownhams Lane, North Baddesley, by travelling at 35mph in 30mph zone. Fined £123 with £110 costs and £49 victim services surcharge. Driving record endorsed with three penalty points.
NEIL DIGWEED, 50, of Blackbushe Close, Southampton, found guilty of failing to provide information relating to identity of driver. Fined £440 with £110 costs and £176 victim services surcharge. Driving record endorsed with six penalty points.
GARY STAFFORD, 49, of Tatwin Crescent, Southampton, pleaded guilty to stealing washing products valued together at £99.50 from Co-op store in Southampton on January 5 2025. Fined £40, with £85 costs, and told to pay £99.50 compensation.
