More than 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs will come roaring into a Southampton park this summer.
The Lost Kingdom, which will be at Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley from August 23 to September 7, will see visitors come face-to-face with snarling, roaring and hissing dinosaurs hidden amongst the trees, bushes and woodland close to the waterfront.
Get up close and personal with the undisputed king of the Jurassic
Era, the ferocious T rex, walk in the shadows of the long-necked giants diplodocus and brontosaurus, come face-to-face with snarling raptors and meet the gentle but giant sauropoda.

The event, which will tour four UK cities, follows the success of Jurassic Encounter in the summer of 2022.
Dinosaurs, including tyrannosaurus rex and triceratops, have robotic moving body parts, with heads moving, bodies breathing, arms and tails moving, eyes blinking and jaws opening wide with realistic roaring sound effects.
Visitors will walk a perilous path and come face-to-face with snarling, roaring and hissing dinosaurs.
An 'unmissable family experience' is promised during the tour's UK debut.
Dino buffs can test their knowledge when they encounter less familiar Jurassic dinosaur beasts like the protoceratops and plesiosaurus.

The event will also include a range of street food and drink stalls, merchandise trailer and fossil dig pit, where younger children can play at being mini palaeontologists.
It's billed as the only event of its kind to showcase giant beasts from the Jurassic and Triassic eras.

The Lost Kingdom will also visit Glasgow, London and Manchester, starting in Scotland in June and continuing until October half term.
Tickets have not yet been released for the event, but will cost £12.50 for children, £14.50 for adults and £50 for a family. For more information, see thelostkingdom.uk
