Drivers living in a quiet village are having to deal with a slog of roadworks as a main road will face more repairs almost immediately after previous works finish.
CityFibre has currently put multi-way temporary traffic lights in place on Satchell Lane in Hamble and has done so since the end of March.
But when these works finish on May 11, Hampshire County Council is set to begin resurfacing works just three days later on May 14.

Satchell Lane will close from 5am to 10pm for three days but will open during rush hours - 7am to 9.30am and 3pm to 6.30pm - to reduce congestion.
Vehicular access for residents and businesses will not be available from the entrance of Mercury Yacht Harbour to the High Street.
Hampshire council has advised drivers to plan for a diversion and allow extra time for journeys while works are completed.
