A one-day road closure is planned for a pole replacement.
Hampshire County Council has issued a notice for Lyndhurst Road, between its junctions with Northgate Lane and Penerley Farm in Brockenhurst.
The closure is scheduled for May 23, from 9.30am to 3.30pm.
While the legal order allows for a closure of up to six months, the work is expected to be completed within the day.
Sunbelt Rentals Ltd will carry out the pole replacement and has stated that reasonable access will be maintained to adjacent properties.
The company will also provide advance notice to those directly affected by the works.
Traffic will be diverted via the B3054, B3055, A337, and B3056.

The closure has been granted under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Patrick Blogg, director of Universal Services, issued the notice on behalf of Hampshire County Council.
The council has confirmed that the closure is necessary to allow the works to be carried out safely.
