A care home resident has been featured in ITV's VE Day celebrations.
Phyllis Basset, a resident at Barchester's Florence Court Care Home in Fareham, was recognised for her role as a teleprinter operator at Bletchley during the war.
She was selected and trained for the top-secret role at the age of 18, but only realised the importance of her work years later.
Reflecting on the ITV feature, Phyllis said: "I feel very honoured and proud to be featured on ITV, although nervous at first the film crew and care home staff put me at ease.
"VE Day was such a long time ago but I can still remember the celebrations as if it was yesterday."
Sarah Lewis, general manager of Florence Court Care Home, said: "We are so proud of Phyllis, she is a wonderful person and served our country in its hour of need.
"We’re so happy that her story has been told to the nation."
