A handmade poppy tribute will be removed today after being displayed at Buckler's Hard.
The display was put up to mark the 80th anniversary of VE Day on May 8.
The team at the 18th-century village in the New Forest spent the winter months knitting and crocheting hundreds of poppies.
These were then arranged on a large cargo net to form a "memorial curtain" outside the entrance of Buckler's Hard Museum.

"It felt like an important moment to remember and show our appreciation for everything those who served gave up for us."
The poppy display will return to the museum front later in the year to mark Remembrance Sunday.
Buckler's Hard served as a motor torpedo base during World War II.
