A gas leak caused traffic chaos in Southampton on Wednesday evening.
Traffic was stalled from Bitterne Road West and across Northam Bridge, as well as elsewhere in the city, including the Itchen Bridge, Canute Road, Town Quay, and Terminus Terrace.
It comes after AA Traffic News reported there had been a gas leak on Bitterne Road West shortly before 5pm, affecting journey times for motorists driving in and out of the city.
