A motorist was caught speeding on the same Southampton road four times in less than a month.
Lenny Sugrue, 22, appeared at the city's magistrates court after repeatedly flouting the 30mph limit on St Mary's Place/Kingsway, in June 2023.
Sugrue was caught driving a Ford Fiesta at 36mph on June 10, June 11 and June 12, and 35mph on June 17.
According to court papers, he was travelling northbound on all but one occasion.
On June 18 2024 the defendant also exceeded the 30mph limit on the A27 at Whiteparish, between Romsey and Salisbury.
For that offence he was banned from driving for six months and fined £276 with £110 costs. There were no separate penalties for the Southampton offences, but his driving record was endorsed.
Sugrue, of Barnsfield Crescent in Totton, pleaded guilty to all five counts.
