Ringwood Waldorf School has secured £3,000 funding for an electrical safety project.
The school will use the money from Electrical Safety First to educate students and families on electrical safety.
The project, named the Spark Sense Project, aims to boost awareness and safe practices within the school community and beyond.
Geli Patrick, school lead and chair of the senior management team at Ringwood Waldorf School, said: "We are delighted to have received this grant, which will be spent on funding different aspects of the practical curriculum and community events around testing, repairing, recycling, and replacing electrical products and which will empower our students to learn about electrical safety in a hands-on, meaningful way."
Lesley Rudd, chief executive at Electrical Safety First, said: "We are delighted to award this grant to Ringwood Waldorf School.
"Our Electrical Safety Fund is designed to empower groups to help keep local people in their communities safe."
