A man arrested after dead animals were left outside churches in the New Forest has been released.
The 47-year-old man, from Totton, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of criminal damage and ten counts of religiously aggravated criminal damage on Friday.
It comes after 12 reports since November of carcasses of lambs and deer left in locations around the New Forest, including near churches in Totton, Bramshaw and Lyndhurst.
But on Saturday, Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed that the man was released on conditional bail until August 2.
