Millions of pensioners may see changes to their DWP State Pension and Pension Credit payments this month due to two bank holidays.

Some payments will move due to Early May bank holiday on Monday, May 5 and again there will be changes due to the Spring Bank Holiday on May 26 2025.

If you’re due a DWP pension payment on May 5, you’ll likely receive it on Friday May 2, and the payment for May 26 is likely to arrive early too, on May 23.

What day is my pension payment due?

The day your pension is paid depends on your National Insurance number. Here's the full list.

While many will welcome the early payments - they will have to last longer as dates will return to normal after the bank holiday.
