A vacant Grade II-listed building in Lymington is set to be transformed into a restaurant.
The premises, located on St Thomas Street, has been unoccupied since Boots moved out, and now has plans for internal alterations to support its new role as a Class E restaurant.
The building, within the Lymington Conservation Area, will have its first-floor structural support reinforced, among other minor internal changes.

The New Forest District Council's Conservation Officer has approved the plans, subject to conditions, after initially requesting further information.
The officer's concerns were addressed with amended plans.
The refurbishment will see the building brought back into use, preserving its historical and architectural importance.
The alterations are deemed to have a positive impact on the Lymington Conservation Area.
The council has granted listed building consent for the modifications, ensuring the preservation of the building's character and architectural interest.
