The New Forest District Council's Conservation Officer has approved the plans, subject to conditions, after initially requesting further information.

The officer's concerns were addressed with amended plans.

The refurbishment will see the building brought back into use, preserving its historical and architectural importance.

The alterations are deemed to have a positive impact on the Lymington Conservation Area.

The council has granted listed building consent for the modifications, ensuring the preservation of the building's character and architectural interest.
