A care home celebrated St George's Day with a quiz, arts and crafts, and a British-themed lunch and dinner.

The Fernes care home, in Fareham, kicked off the day with a quiz to get everyone thinking about St George, the patron saint of England.

Residents and staff also enjoyed arts and crafts activities before sitting down to a traditional British lunch and dinner.

General manager Alina Danetiu said: "Our residents have enjoyed a few activities leading up to St George's Day.
