The Watercress Line is set to celebrate the 80th anniversary of VE Day with a nostalgic event.
On May 8, the Hampshire railway will transport visitors back to 1945 with a day of music, vintage vehicles, and steam travel.
The highlight of the day will be the newly restored wartime locomotive, 35005 Canadian Pacific, built during the Second World War.
Outside Alresford Station, a display of 1940s vehicles, including two wartime jeeps, will greet guests.
The event promises something for everyone, including a locomotive playground, a carriage workshop viewing gallery, and a ukulele band at Alresford Station.
Tickets are available on The Watercress Line's website.
Rebecca Dalley, CEO of The Watercress Line, said: "We’re delighted to welcome visitors to celebrate this important milestone with us.
"VE Day was a moment of hope, unity, and celebration across the country, and we’re recreating that joyful spirit with a special day of heritage, music, and steam."
