A pub is set to commemorate the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe (VE) Day with a special menu.

The Duke on the Test in Romsey will serve up dishes inspired by wartime cuisine with a modern twist on May 8.

The menu is a collaboration between head chef Vince Kundev and general manager Lewis Rosario, who wanted to blend nostalgia with modern flavours.

Lewis said: "We wanted to mark this milestone with something meaningful.

The one-day-only menu will be available during lunch and dinner service, with customers able to enjoy creative reinterpretations of period favourites using seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

The Duke on the Test invites locals and visitors to join in the special celebration, sharing food, stories, and community spirit in remembrance of the end of World War II in Europe.
