A Hampshire village with "artisan" shops and a 16th-century high street has been named as one of Britain's poshest for 2025.
Beaulieu was included alongside 28 others in a list from the Daily Mail, and was the county's only representative.
The publication sought out the opinions of estate agents, went through travel guides and scoped out award winners to come to their conclusions.
They wrote: "From quaint village schools with high-speed links to Oxbridge to thatched cottages and chichi high streets, some villages in Britain are unmistakably upper class.
"It’s little wonder, then, that these smart locations are such a pull for those with deep enough pockets."
The full list of Britain's best poshest villages can be found on the Daily Mail website here.
Why is Beaulieu among Britain's poshest villages?
Beaulieu was praised by the Daily Mail for its high street offerings and proximity to beautiful countryside, among other things.
They wrote: "This Hampshire village hits the posh quota with its sixteenth-century high street and artisan shops.
"It’s also on the doorstep of both the New Forest and Buckler’s Hard, part of the 9,000-acre Beaulieu estate, for those wishing to picnic along the riverside."
Beaulieu is also described as a "charming village" by the New Forest Tourism website.
It adds: "Visitors can explore the scenic landscapes across Millpond, at Beaulieu River and in the surrounding forest, discover the village’s heritage, and enjoy attractions and outdoor activities, all while soaking in the timeless charm of this quintessential New Forest gem.
"Whether it's enjoying a riverside picnic, exploring the charming High Street or visiting the incredible motor museum, the village of Beaulieu provides a great day out."
This is not the first time Beaulieu has been recognised for its quality, having been named among the UK's most desirable villages in a 2023 list from The Telegraph.

It was described as "chocolate-box pretty" with further positives coming from having the New Forest on its doorstep and being near the sailing hub of Lymington.
Additionally, the appeal of its high street and shops was brought up here, too.
These include the Beaulieu Chocolate Studio, Norris Gifts & Furnishings and Belle & Blossoms Florist.
