The wonderful world of steampunk will arrive in Haworth this weekend.
Steampunk blends the retro looks of the Victorian and Edwardian era with futuristic, science fiction-fuelled style.
The village’s historic streets are expected to be busy with steampunks and visitors alike as the charity weekend unfolds throughout Saturday and Sunday.
Previous years have seen some extraordinary outfits, from violin-topped hats and pocket watches to goggle-wearing dogs.
Steampunk outfits often include features like feathers, skulls, walking canes, broaches, corsets, suits, masquerade masks, skulls and ‘bones’, among others.
A spokesperson for the organisers said: "See spectacular steampunk attire, meet delightful people, enjoy tempting shops, restaurants, crown bowling, dancers, singers, fun dog show, steam trains, museums, cafés and market stalls, in this historic village in the heart of Bronte Country...
“The event raises vital funds for the Sue Ryder's Manorlands Hospice.
“We will have free daytime entertainment ,and free evening entertainment/music at some of the local pubs.”

A spokesperson for the railway said: "Step back in time and experience the golden age of railway travel with a weekend dedicated to our stunning vintage trains, historic locomotives, and beautifully preserved carriages. Alongside our heritage railway, enjoy live music, classic transport displays, and nostalgic entertainment for all ages.
"At the start of May over the Bank Holiday Weekend, the railway’s Vintage Trains will be in service using a selection from our collection of historic older coaches. Many of these coaches date back to Victorian times and rarely see public use. These carriages form part of the Railway’s museum collection, including carriages from the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway Trust and the Vintage Carriages Trust."
