Strictly Come Dancing stars bring show to Mayflower Theatre

The supernatural thriller will see Stacey Dooley, Kevin Clifton, Shvorne Marks, and Grant Kilburn take to the stage.

The touring production is directed by Matthew Dunster and Gabriel Vega Weissman, and written by award-winning writer Danny Robins.

Shvorne Marks will be playing the role of Lauren and Grant Kilburn will be playing Ben.

Shvorne Marks said: "I am so thrilled to be joining 2:22 and getting to work on this incredible play. Lauren is a great character and I look forward to putting my own spin on her.

"It’s a fantastic team and we’re going to some incredible venues. I’m super excited."

Grant Kilburn added: "Everyone who’s been part of 2:22 A Ghost Story will know how special this show is to me.

"Having understudied both the characters of Sam and Ben on West End at the Apollo - stepping into Ben’s shoes every night on the UK tour will feel beyond special.

"I’m so thrilled to be back with the Runaway and 2:22 family, reunited with Gabe Vega Weismann, and bringing Danny Robins’s clever, thrilling script to life alongside an immensely talented cast.

"I cannot wait to unleash my version of Ben come August."

2:22 - A Ghost Story began at the Noel Coward Theatre in the summer of 2021 and has since had three years in the West End over seven seasons.

There have been 12 replica productions worldwide and the show has been seen by more than one million people in 17 different countries across five continents.

The 2025/26 tour will see the production revisit some cities due to popular demand, and also visit new places.
