A New Forest hotel has been ranked among the UK's best as part of a national awards.

Rhinefield House Hotel in Brockenhurst was featured in a category as part of Tripadvisor's 2025 Travellers' Choice Awards.

The travel guidance platform recently revealed its winners for the Best of the Best Hotels, celebrating the highest-rated hotels in the world for 2025.

They analysed 12 months of review data from over 1.6 million hotels listed on the site, with winners spanning 10 categories from the definitive Top Hotels through to All-Inclusive, B&Bs and more.

Alongside this, there was also a 'Tripadvisor 25th Anniversary' category, which rounded up travellers’ all-time favourite spots since the beginning of the site.

Rhinefield House Hotel ranked inside the top 25 for this category and was the only Hampshire venue featured.

Why is Rhinefield House Hotel ranked among the UK's all-time best hotel according to Tripadvisor?

Rhinefield ranked in 20th place overall in the 'Tripadvisor 25th Anniversary' category, with it having earned a 4.1/5 score from 2,672 reviews on the platform.

On its website, the venue describes itself as an "award-winning luxury hotel steeped in natural beauty".

It adds: "Beyond its stunning setting, the aura of magic simply deepens – especially when dining in our spectacular Alhambra Room, bedecked in glittering jewels."

In terms of decor, it has a "blend of Tudor and Gothic architecture" and offers plenty of opportunities for spa treatments.

Guests can also make the most of a separate outdoor pool and sun terrace in the summer months.

One person who stayed at the hotel said on Tripadvisor: "I booked a two night weekend stay here for myself and husband as a surprise celebration for his 65th birthday at the end of April.

"We had the most amazing weekend - the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish.

"The staff are obviously highly trained in customer service as their attention to detail is to such a high standard and to us it showed that they are also passionate about the service they provide. We honestly felt like we were treated like royalty for the whole weekend."
